Softball-Session 1: Defense

**Hitting and Defense registration will be completely separate HOWEVER athletes may sign up for both if they wish**

Session 1: Defense (6pm-7pm)

Max of 20 athletes

This fielding clinic for infield and outfield is designed to strengthen key components necessary to be a progressive elite fielder. Topics that will be covered and practiced at various sessions: Throwing development, reinforcing the foundation of fielding, hand eye coordination, transfers, separation, developing fundamental footwork. This hour long clinic will be fun and very high energy. Athletes will have the opportunity to work hands on with both coaches during the sessions. All attendees MUST be ages 12 and younger (6th grade and below). Each attendee will have the opportunity to get instruction from former Division 1 student-athletes as well as a local division 1 coach.  Please contact Becky Wedel with any questions or concerns at (708) 305-4830.

Equipment needed: Gym Shoes, fielding glove, facemask (if applicable), and water.
